AT Art & Interiors and Wigalo Holding Ltd. are pleased to present, Frame of Mind, a solo exhibition featuring a series of abstract artworks by Canadian artist Joel Patry (Calgary, AB). Curated by Allison Thompson, of AT Art & Interiors, the exhibition is a review of how Patry’s work interprets the relationship between natural and urban environments.

Patry blurs and distorts images of trucks, machines, people, and animals, experimenting with scale and proportion, to explore the balance

between nature, memory, and relationships. According to the artist, “the work can be Allison Thompson, curator of the show, adds:

“In this solo exhibition, Frame of Mind, artist Joel Patry plays around with texture, movement and colors in his paintings. To me the paintings display his acute awareness of approaching painting with not only a distinct design aesthetic in mind and technical expertise but also thought-provoking conceptual ideas. He is looking to change the painting narrative in Canada with an advanced contemporary feel you see in markets like New York City. The result is not only providing a refreshing perspective to the Canadian art market, but it also creates wonder. We invite you to be part of Joel’s artistic journey.”

The exhibition opens March 17th, 2022 and runs until March 24th, 2022 at 325 10 Ave SW, in Calgary, AB,
